چکیده

Holographic interferometry with a phase-modulated reference beam is applied to an acoustic holography. A very thin, flexible, optically reflective membrane, called a pellicle, is used in the liquid as an acousto-optic interface. The method involves three processes: the motion of a pellicle caused by an ultrasonic wave is recorded as an optical hologram using holographic interferometry; the optical hologram is reconstructed to form an image on the pellicle which is used as an acoustic hologram; the acoustic hologram is finally used to reconstruct an image of the original object by illuminating it by laser light. A preliminary experiment is done with an ultrasound of frequency 1 MHz.

REAL-TIME DISPLACEMENT AND TILT ANALYSIS BY A SPECKLE TECHNIQUE USING Bil2SiO20-CRYSTALS

Speckle photography is becoming an important method for deformation, displacement and tilt measurements. The technique will be even more attractive to the engineer when its application is in real time. Therefore, the developing process of speckle photography and the subsequent optical Fourier transformation of the photographs will be replaced. Bismuth silicon oxyde Bil2SiO20. has electrical and...

Line segmentation for interferograms of continuously deforming

A new robust and fast method for non-interactive line segmentation of interferograms is proposed. Fringe contours are represented as a set of polygons using a new technique for contour approximation. The method has been developed for application in interferometry with continuously deforming objects. Its application to real-time holographic interferometry in nondestructive testing is shown.

Color Holographic Interferometry (from Holographic Plates to Digital Holography)

ABSTRACT: We propose to detail a comparison of optical non invasive techniques using panchromatic holographic plates and digital holography for analyzing unsteady wake flows. Few years ago, ONERA developed optical methods based on real-time three-wavelength holographic interferometry using transmission and reflection holographic plates. These techniques combine the advantages of differential in...
